New catering internship provides Syracuse teens a recipe for achievements

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-Tv) — Tamica Barnett wears lots of hats in the neighborhood, but she’s experienced the title of prepare dinner for most of her lifestyle.

“It started out with chopping up the collard greens,” Barnett said, “I was always, as a boy or girl, dependable for chopping up the greens. I’m the youngest of 3 ladies. So, I really don’t have any brothers, so I invested a good deal of time with my father and he is the grill learn.”
